I’m very excited about this blog post. Angela is a friend of mine from college so when I found out she was engaged I HAD to photograph her wedding. I was up for the long drive to Baltimore and it was TOTALLY worth it. This wedding was so beautiful I had goosebumps all day from excitement. This gorgeous wedding was also featured on Style Me Pretty!

Here is the lineup from the day:

Brides Dress: Modern Trousseau
Brides Maids Dresses: JCrew
DJ: Karl with C & J Entertainment
Venue: Overhills Mansion, catered and owned by Whitehouse Caterers
Flowers: Most from Potomac Floral in Silver Spring
Succulents: Most came from Jenny Kay’s (Maid of Honor) backyard in Siera Madra, CA. Chicks/hens came from Chris’ parents yard, etc. Jenny Kay planted all of the succulents in the centerpieces.
Florist: Christine Sohns, Arbutus, MD. (Maid of Honor’s sister).
Day-of Coordinator: Kristina Pruett
Pom pom idea from yesplease blog.

Angela and Chris both got ready at The Wayside Inn, the cutest bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at.

Jared got this great picture of Chris getting ready.

Angela and Chris did a “first look” before we headed to Ellicott City for some portraits of just the two of them. This is one of my favorites from the entire season.

Jared grabbed this great shot while I directed them on the bridge.

I loved Angela’s flowers so much! Can you believe a friend did them? Just GORGEOUS!

Angela and her bridesmaids made these pompoms the night before! How cute!

For anyone thinking about a first look and you’re not sure here is proof that the groom still gets nervous even after seeing his bride moments before.

Angela got this cute sign off of Etsy.com! I loved it!

One of Angela’s bridesmaids and her husband made the Sangria.

Angela and Chris, thank you both so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day. We had such a great time capturing every moment!
